Feisty Mario World is a romhack I designed because I love Super Mario World, but I've played it so much that it's too easy. My vision for this hack was to make every obstacle in the game faithfully echo the original, but with creative changes to challenge veterans. There are a few balance changes, to include a larger difficulty curve (especially in secret levels) and occasional new obstacles. This video was made to emphasize comparison and contrast. Unfortunately, this Feisty Mario World footage is not showcasing the newest version. I've since overhauled the map palettes (I'm far more pleased with it), and tweaked some obstacles and music. ...But I really don't want to record a new FMW run at the moment. The playthroughs are definitely not perfect by any means. You may notice some editing on both sides to cut out a few deaths. The video was recorded using GeForce Experience, and edited using Windows Movie Maker and VSDC Free Video Editor. Thanks for watching! You can download Feisty Mario World here:
This is a year old, but it's an awesome tool-assisted speedrun of a single custom stage I made for Eversion. The video was created and uploaded by Botzdotcom last year! Thanks again, Botz!

Eversion is an awesome platformer by Guilherme S. Tows available for free on his website. There is also a deluxe version you can buy for cheap on Steam! You play as a little flower(?) guy, and you whimsically bounce off cheerful goomba-like enemies as you make your way to the exit. Pay close attention to discover areas where the sky slightly changes color and other music can be heard, as those areas allow you to evert to a parallel world. I have used Fastcall22's level editor to make a complete level set designed for people who have finished the original game and want a new challenge. I put a lot of love into it! Here is a preview:
To play it, first download the original game, here: http://zarat.us/tra/eversion/ Pay attention to where you place your Eversion folder, as you will be replacing some files. Also, I'd strongly recommend playing through the original levels before starting mine. Next, download my maps, here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2bhn7hu75xe1o7m/maps.zip Replace all the contents of the Eversion "maps" folder with the new extracted files. After that, you need to download one more thing: http://www.mediafire.com/download/66bahodp5p4c53w/scripts.zip Replace the contents of the "scripts" folder. These files are courtesy of Fastcall22's EversionMod, which allows advanced editing of the camera, doom walls, etc. It's not necessary for simply playing the game, but if you are interested, the page for his Level Editor and EversionMod are here: http://fastcall22.blogspot.com/2010/03/eversion-level-editor-released.html
That's it! Run the Eversion application and begin playing the new level set. Thanks for checking it out, and I hope you enjoy it!
