Hello!

My name is Kevin, and I love to design video games.  And by design, I mean in the barest of context.  I haven't done much actual programming, but I love to take advantage of level editors and the like.  I am putting this blog together to chronicle as much of my work as I can, and to make it more available to anyone interested.  Also, if I can figure out how to, I'd eventually like to post videos of playing games I enjoy, perhaps with commentary.  Thanks for visiting!

Work I'd like to upload and/or post video of, off the top of my head:

  • Eversion challenging custom level set
  • Lode Runner: The Legend Returns massive, co-op, nonlinear 75+ level set
  • RPG Maker game on PS1.  15+ hours of content, worked on for over 10 years, with maps made on an old AD&D program.
  • "Paper Game" - My overhead, multi-floor "Metroidvania" maze with powerups and puzzles, all hand-drawn on grid paper.
  • Timesplitters: Future Perfect maps... all kinds.  It may be impossible to make them accessible to the public for play, but I'd like to at least showcase them.
  • Super Mario World custom levels, resembling the originals with creatively ramped-up difficulty.  Unfortunately, I would need to remake most of them at this point, due to a tragic reformatting of my computer.
